Already!?

As the year slowly grind to an end, it's also time for everyone to make new year resolutions.
It's also my 100th post for this blog, how time flies huh.

I have no clue if I made any resolutions last year, but as I think back on all the events that have happened over 2011, I see changes. Every little thing that happened had made me changed over and over again. I must say I am no longer the Eamon of the early 2011.

Some of the major events that happened was the Frisbee team.

When I first joined the team due to peer pressure.

To captaining my own small little team in a little competition. I was really blown away by the trust given to me by my captains. I disappointed the team, but it was an experience I will never forget.

To breaking my arm during a competition and sitting at the sidelines with some of the fringe players. I was also entrusted with the job of picking the players for each match and rounds. How much more can I ask for?

After my arm recovered, my interest in the sport slowly faded. Due to personal reasons, like the girl rejecting me and what not, and some other stuffs. The school soon sought for professional help and that was when it all took a turn for the worse. I hated the new coach, and I think he felt that way about me too. We could never see each other eye to eye. It became clear to me that I was no longer needed in the team led by the new coach and I took the initiative to leave the team. The rest is history.

As 2/3 of my social life dulled down, I learned to be more independent. School and home was everything to me. It became clear to me that people I used to trust were really not worth my time. As my education took a beating to its head, I too, had a knock that woke me up. I started putting in effort to pull my grades up. In 25 weeks, I grew up. I became more mature, and I also learned to be a leader.

Back to the basics with my secondary school mates.
As you can see. I slowly sobered up.

By this point I was already clear what I wanted out of my teenage life. I had my hair snipped off and I frequent the gym too. It was a change I am glad I made.

I must say I'm glad I found out who were true and who weren't. Maybe it was a little too late, or maybe it was just in time. I'm just glad they are part of my life today.

Okay, enough of reminiscing the good ol time.

My new year resolutions for the year 2012 :

- Gain 10kilograms by August. That brings me to a healthy 65kg.
- Graduate by April with a GPA of 2.3.
- Do 15 pull ups at one go.
- Be more tolerant with every one.
- Learn to give more and expect less.
- Be less vocal.
- Learn to be a better listener.
- Do more charity
- Always give a helping hand to those in need.

I think these resolutions are doable.
Have you made your new year's resolutions yet?

7 days left to the end of 2011. Are you as excited as I am?
