Life's firsts.

Life has got many firsts. This Friday, I'm going to be doing one of my life's firsts.
My first plane ride! Having lived for 19 years, I have always dreamt of stepping into an airplane. Growing up, I've had my fair share of watching television shows portraying how great taking an airplane feels like. In my mind's eye, yeah that's right I quoted Shakespeare, I picture myself in a spacious seat looking out the gorgeous view of the sky and clouds, and the buildings and landscapes on the ground dwarfed.

PS: None of the following pictures are mine.
This is the view I'm hoping, and have always dreamt of, to see.
But this is probably the view I'm going to see. Still great though.
My family and I will be flying with Thai Airways to Bangkok for 3 days. So I've done some picture scouting of the internal view of the airplane.
Looks good, don't it? I just hope it's as good as they advertised it to be.
I know I'll probably be disappointed thanks to my high expectations of what an aircraft should look and feel like. Nothing is as good as they are portrayed to be on TV, it's all bogus.

Anyways, to prepare for the four hour flight towards Thailand, I dug out old CDs and went to the library to borrow books. But I only managed to sync one album onto my phone.
Old school songs are still awesome.
And I borrowed two books from the National Library. I wanted to borrow Shakespeare's "On Love and Lust", but I couldn't grasp the first chapter of the book within an hour in the library.
The language was too 'artsy?' for me, it was full of 'thou', 'art' and word plays I'm not familiar with. I guess this holiday will be a good time to brush up on my Shakespeare knowledge.

So I borrowed '1003 Reasons To Smile' by Elizabeth Dutton, and 'I'm Sorry You Feel That Way' by Diana Joseph.
The following pictures are mine.
Shit My Dad Says making a cameo appearance.
Oh, two examples of Shakespeare's command of language being too 'artsy?'.

Enough for now. I'll be back on Sunday.
Till then.
